Many members of the Shawnee community don’t realize that all of the proceeds from Pumpkin Patch are donated to community organizations. This year’s recipients, each receiving a check for $680, were Project Gabriel, the Jim Thorpe Academy, Shawnee Rescue Mission, Mission Shawnee and Youth and Family Resources. The Pumpkin Patch Committee was chaired by Ms. Lavonta Miller this year! A special thanks to all those whose hard work made this year’s patch a success!
